How did you come to work at the ministry?
A friend introduced me to the former director.

Who was a big influence in your career choice?
One of my biggest influence was the need that I saw in our community.

What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of (this can pertain to your entire life, not just your current position)?

My greatest achievement was being able to receive my Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor Diploma.

What appealed to you about working at New Day?

Working with people from all kinds of ethnic groups and backgrounds.

If you had to live in a desert island, what would you miss most?

What I would miss most is drinking a chilled Coca-Cola.

What’s your favorite food or meal?

My favorite food is “Enchiladas Rojas”.

What’s your favorite sports team?

My favorite sports team is las Chivas Ralladas de Guadalajara.

What frustrates you the most?

The political system and issues.

What was growing up like for you?

When I was growing up it was great because of the values that my parents share with me and the support they provided. My parents would always encourage me that there were better days to come and not to fall behind.

What’s your favorite TV program? And your less favorite?

Police series and westerns are my favorites, I’m not that interested in fiction movies.

What do you for a good time when you’re not working?

I love camping with family and friends.
